I am placing a 4L60E in my 1966 tempest and am looking for a good solution to the cross member. The factory cross member does not place the trans at the right angle or location so I will need to cut and relocate the mount in the factory cross member ( not my first choice of fixes). After doing some searching for a cross member I have been unable to find one in the tube style and am looking for some help to find one.

Trans Dapt makes a kit that is very user friendly. It CAN be used in bolt together form or at the very least, it will get you to a muffler shop for welding. Double check availability before ordering. I've been having trouble getting them.

We manufacture a complete PerfectFit kit for the 4L60E, including the crossmember parts for factory correct driveline angle.
