These are a few renderings for a client ("Thanks Chad") and he wanted me to post them up for you to see. These are not all of them...

The pleasure was all mine Carter. I was a honor working with you. Like I said before you make these cars come to life long before they actually do and that makes it so real. I couldn't imagine trying to paint my car with out having one of your renderings. You made this whole experience a pleasure and we will miss the anticipation of seeing the car come together.

Now if only I can make my car look as nice as the rendering.

Another home-run CHickman.. .nice work! And have a great holiday season, bud... we have to get together - we're probably the closest 2 Lat-G members and never see each other in person!

yeah this was my last model with those tires!! Plus I have to keep you all on your toes, rights?? All the recent models I have started have new tires, with out a directional pattern. It does look like junior's car but Chad saw a rendering I did several years ago (before I started 3d) and wanted a modified version of that paint job, so no copy on this end just following what Chad wanted. The backplates actually come from a company that sells those type of images, you can see the reference to them in the bottom of the image.

CarterNot implying you did. Customer always gets what he wants. Just mentioning I have seen the design before on Jr's car and on a Firebird, different colors though. My rendering has been copied in real life so many times I have lost count, many I have saved for proof. That is the reason my 68 is getting a complete makeover by Jason Rushforth right now, and I am hiding the new design until it is set in motion which is soon.

Mike no prob man, I did not think you were making any accusation, I was just more explaining where it came from. I knew when we started that comparison was going to be made. Kinda like painting a second gen orange, its gonna get compared!

these are beautiful. Id like to suggest thought that you add a watermark to what you place on a board for renderings and stuff. I saw a car this year at a large show that shall not be named that 90% of EVERYTHING was identical to what an innovative company had designed- right down to spoliers and 'hard to find ' parts that they made. The only thing different was the color. And I know the original design was plastered all over the internet before it was finished and Im sure some backwoods company thought it was cool to steal the deaigns- instead of paying for them like shops SHOULD be doing. YOU renderers (Is that a word?LOL) are worth your weight in gold to see the builders vision- and people shouldnt forget that!:hail:

DAMN shame.

Haha good find. That background's actually a free sample over at HDRI Locations. They offer some really nice background plates and have some nice samples on their site, www.hdri-locations.com.

Nice renders Carter!

Jr's car is a little different. This was the original rendering Kyle and I worked on.

I'm working on one right now that has a somewhat similar appearance too. As soon as anyone does a 2tone silver split by something orange/red it's gonna be mistaken for being a copy of some sort. It's a popular color combo and there's only so many variations you can try to keep it unique while looking great.

Looks great Carter!

Yeah Kris those are from Surrlands site. I also purchased a few locations from him as well so you will see some more of his backgrounds in some of my future works.

Ben you are so right. Chad actually saw one I did several years ago (before I started doing 3d) of a camaro called illusion and wanted one similar but with some color changes.

Thanks again guys for the positive words.
