In 1968 Mr. Norm used his influence with Chrysler to create a special run of 50 Dodge Darts endowed with the biggest baddest engine that would fit between the fenders of the diminutive Dart, the 440. The only way to get the 375hp street terror was to buy it form Grand-Spaulding Dodge, and so the M-Code GSS was born. According to the Galen Govier registry, of the 48 cars actually completed, only 8 original GSS M-Code Darts survive today.

This car is not a recreation, it is Serial Number 1 in a limited edition Mr. Norm's custom muscle car, fusing the heritage and stance of the original with modern performance technology. She has been stripped bare and fully rotessorie restored on her way to becoming legendary. The Jim Van Gordon built and blue printed 440 SIX PACK motor makes a whopping 505hp. Unlike the original M-Code GSS darts, this one is a Bowler 4 speed manual transmission. Kelsey Hayes 4 piston disc brakes are in charge of “stop” and a split monoleaf rear suspension keeps the Dana 60 rear firmly planted to the asphalt.

The front coil-over independent suspension point the BF Goodrich shod Magnum 500 road wheels anywhere you want to go. Trans Am style side exhaust trumpets the melodic rumble like charging calvry about overrun an unwitting opponent.

The brute is not all brawn, she is also beauty. “B5 Again” Blue Silver Pearl with white bumble bee stripe offsets a Pearl White Leather interior. GSS 3-spoke wheel gives you a clear view of the column mounted Tachometer. The Mr. Norm's auxiliary gauge package helps the driver keep tabs on Volts, Oil Pressure, and Water Temp. The Hurst T-shifter with Hurst roll-control makes stirring through the gears feel smooth, tight, and crisp. Everywhere you look, tasteful “Mr. Norm's GSS” logos adorn in the interior, topped off by the GSS dash plaque, verifying that this truly is #1. Only 25 will be produced, Mr. Norm's M-Code GSS Darts can be built to your exact specifications, starting at $99,900. Serial #1, a well optioned example, is brand new and ready for delivery!
