Nicely done! Many things stand out to me, but one of my faves is that you didn't totally smooth the fire wall...I prefer to see the cowl to firewall seam!

You can pm me. By the way great craftsmenship and a very nice looking car. Would love to see more pictures.

Dont they ALL fit like that! (lol) actually made new mounting brackets that mount back into the Rad support and lower stone tray, then trimmed the edges till it fit and massaged the ends of each fender a bit.

Sorry,Lenie, not really the sort of thing I could make and guarantee to fit your car, as this one has a custom rad support and hood locking system etc,I would be happy to send you some pics of the fabrication of the panel so you could get someone over there to fab one.

I've also massaged the bumper and fenders to fit close and this closeout you've fabricated would look really good. Our valances are quite similar also.

Yeah, sure they do :) I have an original 1967 Firebird ad up on my garage wall, and after looking at your build pics I looked at the ad and noticed just how out of whack they had it- and this was in their advertisement! (you'd think they'd cheat it a bit and make it look nicer)
Thank you for the reply. Your pics/ buiild gives me an aspirational standard I need to meet (or exceed, ha ha)

Easy enough, because weve used a new full flat firewall and dash structure we simply moved everything to the right,as for the rack we used a (think) late chev (not quite sure what model) rear steer rack flipped over to the front.

So weird seeing a tuned supercharged LSx motor and right hand drive over here in the states...
Thanks for the insight on the steering switch, I've got one of your Holden Commodores over here as my DD!

Been a while since I updated this one, should of been finished 6 months ago,we,ve had heaps of holdups with chrome platers and upholsterers
lucky my customer is understanding, getting real close now its been fired up (sounds awsome) weve loaded a base tune map into it and run it through the gears, another 4 weeks should see it basically wrapped up.

Enjoy watching your build. Very nice thru and thru. Got anything planned for the quarter louvers or will you be sticking with the original inserts? Again, your a very talented individual.

We painted the quarter louvre insets black so as to stay with the black and red theme.

Just looking back now its been along time since I posted on this,We were going to have it finished early this year,But the owner is in no real hurry so he had us starting on his daughters 67 Fastback.but its near done now,off to the dyno next week for the Firebird and rego.First drive today,no real issues a bit soft in the rear so maybe a heavier spring set and the Throttle is unresponsive,it has sensational steering. It looks like the car is running uphill at the front but as it sits the sill is 1/2 inch higher at the rear than the front,I think its just the fact of no offset on the front wheels makes the raers look small.
