I see some adjustable looking bars that seem to attach to the rear leaf spring lower mounts and then go forward to the front spring to car mount.
What are those called - who makes them? Benefits????
I am running the fiberglass springs so I can't put a snubber bar that presses on the spring, but I would like to have more than fiberglass between my axle and the push point on the car.
THANKS!

Yep...I believe those are what I have been seeing.
I'll send a note to him to see if they are compatible with the fiberglass springs - don't see why not.
I just yanked the 9" out of my 69 today. I have to get it shortened back to stock width as I have a set of cusom wheels in mind and need it narrowed before I can do anything.
One of my local buddies has a set that look something like that but they actually rap against the front of the spring which is a no-no on the fiberlass...and I really don't need "traction bars" but I think it would be good to have more between the axle and the car than a pair of skiis.

The axle has been in there for 10K miles (the housing) I had trouble at first with the 3rd member but all that is good now.
I am concerned I will have shock issues with the 02 LS1 F body rear disc conversion as it looks as if the calipers will interfere with the shocks...Not sure yet.
I had to relocate the parking brake cable bracket inbound 2.5" and will have to relocate my brake hose mounts as well as all that is moving to the center.
Also - I have had a frustrating slow leak/drip from the left axle house (31" moser axles in 9" housing...the combo bearing/seal unit oozes a little gear oil.
Looks like I'll have a local shop cut the housing and ship the axles back to Moser for cutting.
I have been getting minimal rub with the C5 rear rims in the stock fenders, nothing to make much notice of. I'm concerned as I move it all around and push the envelope again that we get everything dead on...or I'll have a problem. Just a little bit off in/out will cause problem.
I'm looking at powdercoating swatches right now and have to settle on that before my rim decision can move forward.

I just looked at that again - the front mount had a bump stop it appears that comes down on the top of the front part of the spring - I don't know if that is acceptable on the fiberglass. I know they don't want bottom slapping traction bars - possibly for the same reason.
I will speak with Calvert next week and see what the story is.
