Tire Selection Goodrich's or Michelins

For some of you that have bought or had numerous types of tires,

Whats the best to do, I had Frank order my Fikse, I have Michelin PS's 335/30/18 for the rear, I need front tires, do I order the matching fronts or should I change and go with a BF Goodrich front and then change the rear when there gone, I've heard that the ride and handleing with the michelins is great, but they don't hook to well on the street, not like there hard or anything.

I don't know to much about the Goodriches,

I'm just trying to get ideas before I bite the bullit and order them, and Michelin has changed there tread pattern with the new PS2,

A Michlin Pilot Sport ot the Pilot Sport 2 are a better tire than anything goodrich produces, but are a little on the pricey side.

They can hook very well on the street, we run them on AMG Mercedes making between 518hp and 604 hp w/738 ft/lb tq. But anything w 738 ft/lb and 2 turbos will spin any tire easily.

I have BFG on some of my cars and love them, but I got them because of what you get for the price, not because they were the best.

It all boils down to personal preference and wallet size.

I'm up in the air on what tires to run as well. I wanted to do 18x11's with 315/30/18's for the rear and 18x8's with 245's on the front, but Michelin is about the only option for that size. I'm considering the 18x11.5" wheel with the 335 BFG's (as Frank recommended) and the same 245 fronts simply because of the price difference...$960 vs. $1474. I'm trying to not trim and roll my quarter lips, but with 335's, it's not looking too promising.

You running DSE tubs? What spec's are your wheels?

I have the DSE tubs, but there not installed YET! will be working on them this month, I also have the stock subframe with the DSE coilovers YET to be installed, I have 2 kids 7 and 10, free time HA!, The wheels came out to be:

18x8 with 4.750

18x12 with 6" or 6.125,

I'm not sure which one Frank ordered, but I'm shorting the rear to 55" Franks reccommendation, I was going to shorten it anyways, The 6.125 fit that what Anthony car has, I CAN trim and roll, no paint yet, but I hear it tight,
