Hey everyone, thought I'd join up and say hi, I'm sure I'll have lots of questions for everyone on down the line. I have a '72 Cutlass which I'd like to put a 6.0/4L80e combo into after I sell my '99 z28 (it was one or the other, couldnt part with the Cutlass). Here is the list of what she has so far:

Hotchkis springs and sway bars front and rear
Koni shocks
Hotchkis lower rear control arms w/Edelbrock no hop bars and adjustable uppers
Global West GenII upper and lower front control arms
Went from 4-wheel drums to Baer brakes (13" front on modified B-body spindles, 12" rear)
12 bolt from 70 Chevelle w/3.73 Richmond gears and Auburn posi
Be Cool radiator W/Flexalite dual 13" fans
Quick ratio steering box
All stainless steel brake lines throughout (fuel lines not installed yet)
Custom grey cloth/vinyl interior (nothing special, but looks purdy)
16" Cragar SS wheels wrapped with Yokohamas (soon to have 345-30/19s :unibrow: )

Thats most of it.

She is in great shape and if it wasnt for 1 bad rod and 1 bad main bearing, I'd be driving her now. Thought about rebuilding the stock 350 but decided not to. Hope to pick all your brains later.

Very cool. Alternative A-body's are the hot ticket in my book. Coupe or convertible? Let's see those pix.

James,
Welcome to Lateral-G. I also had a 72 Cutlass and it was the first project car I fell in love with. I bought it after I saw the movie Demolition Man.
I look forward to seeing updates on yours.
Pics of my Cutlass are here http://camaroboy9602.50megs.com/My%20Cars/My%20cutlass.html.

That's a sweet car, my dad used to have one. Is that the same model as the 442? His was the classic Olds gold color with the olds 350.

Your project sounds cool, can't wait to see it done.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Mine isnt a 442, she's just a basic Holiday Coupe. I have the window sticker, so when I say basic....I mean basic. :D That gold color is Autumn Gold Metallic, mine was the same color originally too. Hoping to have my Camaro sold this weekend.....

I'll miss her, but she's going for a good cause. :unibrow:

Sounds like you will be needing alot of the same pieces I have been rounding up for the 65 GTO. Great to see another A-body in the mix. Let me know if I can help.
