I looked into it a little further. Just ordered 4 tires, and I'm suppose to be getting $510 cash back.

You don't have to use Discount Tire, just make sure the Microsoft 30% cashback in on the screen, you have set up Live seach cash back account, and you use pay pal.

Max cash back is $250 per transaction up to 3 transactions per Ebay account.
I can't do it from work but will be ordering some later tonight.

After you sign in to your live accoutn, do a search in the live search function. An ebay 30% discount link will show up, click on that and it will take you to ebay, once you find the item you want, make sure it has the green live 30% cash back tag at the top of the screen. After you do the buy it now, and pay for it through paypal, you will get an email with a link to your live cashback account, the amount will be in there.

It's kinda hard to explain, but I hope that helped.

from what i read, it goes back to paypal. there are two different sets of conditions though. one said "up to 12 sessions at $200 each" and the other said "up to 3 sessions at $250 each".

i made a purchase and only got $200 when 30% would have been $206, so im thinking the first set of conditions is true.

summitracing is 30% as well!!!!!!!!!!!!

The live.com promotion is on again, off again... it first showed up about 2 months ago and keeps appearing in various rates of discount.

It was 30% for the last couple days up to about noon today-- as of this afternoon it's back down to 25%.

The best bet is to watch slickdeals.net in the "hot deals" forum as they always have up to the minute info on the live.com discount current percentage and when it's active.

Live.com has about $800 in cashback pending for me just from this morning.... LOL

there is really no sense to how it works. up until about 1500 pst i was able to get 20% for ebay but 25% for ebay stores. once i used the link for the stores, i was able to get 25% for anything. now its 20% for EVERYTHING. i guess it used to be 35% a couple of months ago. we'll have to see how long this lasts. theres a bunch of idiots out there abusing the hell out of it (ie. gift cards, fake purchases, etc.), so it may not last much longer.

One thing I read, make sure you go to: Settings>Reward method>Paypal.

Mine are still all failed though. I'm not sure how often they make the attempts.

mine shows failed on three different attempts. i just added my hotmail email to my paypal account, so i hope it will work now.

i followed what mark said, and it didnt show any account to put the money into, hence the reason it failed. pretty stupid that when i linked my accounts it didnt automatically put that down as where to send the payment. they are probably banking on some people forgetting about it just like with mail in rebates and gift cards.

So are they now approved? Mine are still stating "failed" .

There are several sites on the internet discussing this, it seems no one is getting cashback from their 30% off purchases.

Must be one of those to good to be true deals.
