View Full Version : Dakota Digital gauges question for you guys

i found a set of Dakota Digital gauges that a guy is wantng to get rid of what would you recomm i offer for the set for a 72 chevelle ss / round dash gauges.i have my stock gauges but figure there worth more then others maybe , i am not sure honestly there value. i thought maybe keep them for later or sell them off but not sure what to do with my old gauges if i get the Dakota Digital gauges. looking for some insight from you guys on this

Personally, I prefer analog displays over digital instrumentation. If takes a bit longer to process the information at a glance when compared to a needle. But that's just me. If you like them and that's what you want, I say go for it.
I'm with Scott 100%. Most high end cars don't even have a digital clock much less a tach and speedo and once in a great while, there's a single small digital readout for RPMs or gear indicator next to an analog tach. If you're going for a Racepak look, get a Racepak not that 90s street rod stuff. And good luck trying to read those in direct sunlight.
You wouldn't go to a fine jeweler and ask for a digital watch, would you?

ok guy's you talked me out of it either i am going to keep the factory round gauges or i am going to upgrade to something better in time. now jason you need to send me some porn pics on the rushforth steering wheels :unibrow: i mean i do have the whiplash wheels one off :yes: so i need something to complement them i think in my chevelle.
