Is anyone here using this kit for a GM rear 10/12 bolt? How did the install go?
Thanks for any info.

Haven't used them, but I'm sure like everything else Baer has it will bolt right on. My only gripe with them is they don't match any of their front kits. But definitely are a good choice if you need to save some $$.

What interested me is that on the 70-81 camaros, the 2 piston kit appears to foul on the inner wheelwell on the drivers side. During some websurfing, I discovered an article by superchevy where they had to beat (hammer) the inner wheelwell in to clear the caliper during the install for suspension travel. Actually I spoke to one of the guys at baer brakes yesterday and he sent me some pics of this single piston caliper showing the parking brake mechanism and these should work nicely for my application. I do agree that they would look better if the caliper matched the front kit finish.

They are basically an older Caddy caliper put into kit form which no one had done. Direct bolt in, only 2 GM part numbers available depending on your shock setup. The market target is adding rear discs to factory disc/drum cars for guys not wanting to upgrade the front factory single pistons. We have them dirt cheap right now on our site.

i have a set.. it bolted right on without a single hitch.... and they arent caddy calipers, unless all caddy stuff has a ford logo cast in....
they are late model mustang cobra rear calipers with built in parking brakes.. and they weigh like 1 pound more than my aluminum front calipers...
