Garth at Leading Edge Performance where we dyno'd FUel seemed really good. Can't say if he is a Holley carb master or not, give him a call...

Lots of sweet cars rolling through why hung out there... mostly new nasty HP Vettes.

Vegas69 sorry we missed going on a cruise, you guessed it before hand... had no time.

Call Russ. His father in law owns Leading Edge Performance. He'll hook you up.

Oh...and let me know when you go...I want to see that!!:D

No big deal....I got tied up with a broken heater in my house the morning of the optima challenge and couldn't make it. We'll get them out next time. I was thinking of that shop. I'll call Garth and see how he feels about playing with an old school big block. :D I can handle the jetting but it's much easier with a 02 sniffer.

Not accurate.

His FAL owns a muffler shop in Henderson that has a dyno, but it isn't LEP.

I'm not pulling any strings...but thanks for the heads up. garth has told me before he knows holleys good. but from what i have seen he mostly does efi...
but all you need is a dyno then for a holley you can go to the zoo and pick up a monkey to tune it for you .lol
also try N.R.P (sponsor) they have a history with drag cars= pig blocks with holleys.

I always thought working on fuel injection was easier than carbs:D Of course when I went to Auto School we spent 2 days on carbs and forever on fuel injection. I can tune it but it's best to jet on the dyno with sniffers. It's really hard to tune a main jet without it. I'll give Garth a holler when I know I have a little time to play. Hoping next week....if I'm lucky maybe Garth will have a banana waiting for me.

It was a basic tune in North Carolina. Of course being that they back the engine they set it up a little fat with the biggest honking advance springs. I have already dropped the jets for the altitude change and put in some racier distributor springs. Never run better. Haven't you been keeping up on my novel....:D I still have a tip in hesitation...not nearly as bad but need to start playing with power valve or possibly a metering block mod. He actually sounded excited about a big block chevy. Old school is still cool.

Nice. What rwhp numbers are you aiming for?

I suppose around 450-475. That's factoring 20% drive train loss and the elevation factor. We'll find out next week.
