i melted the lead out of the window pillar

i had a hairline crack going on each side of the top of the pillar.i took the torch and melted the whole deal out of there.it looks very crazy at this point.im going to fill the whole deal up with weld.anyone else sweating the lead out??

Just weld the seam solid. Either mig or silicon bronze joint and redo the lead if you can. If not you can use marglass or duraglass and do finish work with a quality bodyfiller. Joe :)
