That's HDR (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_dynamic_range_imaging) (high dynamic range). Looks awesome when not overdone.

Okay, I had to get in on this.These photos are from the bottom of the dam looking straight up with a fish-eye camera lens. Each photo is spin 90 degrees from the previous image.

are they still working on that huge new bridge going over the dam? i saw a show on discovery a while back and it looked like they were moving along with it.

I want to drive Rt. 66 some day, and see all the old sites.
