Yeah she bogged off the line a bit, we were having trouble getting it up on the chip to lauch it for some reason and right after the boog the front end had dropped and then the 2nd stage hit and the 3rd one that is right after that is a big kit, so up she goes. On the previous pass with no changes it ran a 7.57. She boogs off the line and rides the parachute mount.
In the 2nd video we had taken 15 lbs front the front and put it in the trunk to get a bit more traction. On the drag radial it is fine line between tearing the bumper off and spinning the tires. Sometimes we get the balance right and she will run really.

Very impressive Rodger, makes me want to go work on my junk.
The driving job by the Black Mustang, driving though the wheelie, smoking the tires through the traps and catching it on fire, Nuckin Futs! I am saving that one
Yeah drag radials blow. The stiffer sidewalls make for a finiky tune. We found on our Camaro that running 2.5lbs more in the slick resulted in quicker 60fts with no other tune to the suspension. Go figure. But then again we're only running 9-teens in a 3,100 lbs car.

But a drag radial will put up more MPH hour then a slick. You can drive through the spin with a slick but the drag radial will just blow them off. Turbo cars are great on the radial but the usually have to weigh 3400lbs. We run at 3070 and have billet big block on 3 stages. Some guy on the east coast just ran 208mph on drag radial. We 60 foot in the mid to low 1.2. That pass was a 1.28 60ft with the front wheels obviously over the beam. So we tripped the beam a with the back tires.

Yeah thats tranny fluid. He hosed down the WHOLE track. He was us to build a 69 mustang for him, I better buy a good trans pan.

Yeah.. it was at the Shakedown at Etown I believe. Thats the event I was telling you about a while ago. The baddest 10.5 and outlaw cars in the country. They said this year it became an even bigger event than Orlando.
We're running a naturally aspirated Dart Little M small block in a 3100 lbs car with a slick that has 103" roll out. Our 60's are in the 1.36 range with a PG.
Your Nova looks sweet. You should haul that puppy cross county next year.
I gotta spare bedroom and a stocked bar.

Oh the orange nova may get moth balled due to the new twin turbo outlaw car. We ran a 7.27 last weekend, which is slow for outlaw, but our tuner says the convertor sucks, the air intake temp sucks and we have few other issues that should put up right up there. Plus we are 160lbs over weight. Roger the owner of the car likes buying 40 bags of ice as opposed to filling 20bottle of nitrous, 2 bottle per run.
