Interesting....I talked to Ben H at SEMA about this car. The car had alot of potential and had a good debut at SEMA 2007, but the owner never really followed throught with all the parts etc and the project and parts production died. Ben never even got paid for all his work.

I wonder why it ended on ebay without any bids or sale...

Here is the link. If this is true somebody will get a smokin deal. It's seems fishy to me though

Nice car but the front end grill and headlights looks more like a Dodge charger or challenger

It ‘s tough to see what’s happening here. Mike’s a decent guy, a real car guy who had a dream and the guts to go for it. Unfortunately in spite of great effort , promotion and expense, he seemed to have run out of resources before he could make the final refinements to get into the end zone.

If this is really Mike selling this car for $75K, it’s the deal of a lifetime and just needs some final touches to be a superstar.

I sincerely hope someone can finish this car as I envisioned it. And I hope Mike can recover from a bad situation that came so close to going the other way.

It was great seeing everyone in Vegas! I had a great time and can't wait for next year.

I looked at the stats of the 250k car and 75k car. The wheels and tires are different and the motor on the original shows a custom Roush motor. The 75k car only shows a 289 or 351.

I just got off the phone with Mike and he explained to me what's going on.

1. The prototype car is being repainted red and it is still for sale at the higher price but he is aware of market conditions. Someone is going to get the deal of the century on this car.

2. $75K is the cost for the lower end kit applied to another 67/8 Mustang. It would include the following but buyers can talk to Mike about options:

a. 289 or 351 with stock trans
b. much of the Nemesis exterior appearance kit without carbon fiber
c. aftermarket wheels (not the wheels on the Prototype car)
d. more aggressive stance than stock
e. 4 wheel disc brakes
f. mild custom interior

Maybe you're thinking of a 90's Dodge Dakota with GTS smoked headlight covers. I've looked at Chargers and Challengers several times and I just don't see the comparison that some have made. Not that it's a bad thing anyway.

As Ben said, The car seemingly had potential. We did all the clay modeling, molds from the clays and fist parts from the molds. Unfortunately that is when things started to go haywire.
Funding was short and once the car reached SEMA, it all came to a screaching halt. We are still in possesion of the molds. I wish mike all the luck in the world. He truly has his heart in the right place. I hope all is well with him.
