Hey guys, I am new over here, but those of you who are on Camaros.net might recognize the name. Anyway, I am attempting to build a pro touring 69 Camaro on a budget. I am trying to find a solid shell to start with or possibly a project that someone wants to sell. Let me know.

Thanks, Mike

With the economy, I would look for a car that comes with some goodies you want that has been stripped or you can verify is solid. You also want to find one that has most of the factory pieces that need reused. The OER made in China crap doesn't fit the same...ever.

Thanks Vegas69, What you are saying is EXACTLY how I am thinking. I want to spend my money on a solid start or find something that someone can't finish and take it from there.
I had to sell my last 69 about four years ago to pay bills and I'm afraid if I don't get back into one now, it's not going to happen, ya know?

Thanks for the reply.

Mike - 1Nast69 -

Hello -I am new to the forum on posting as I just posted the Budniks from my 69 Camaro project / shell car for sale. I also posted multiple photos on Photobucket as I am selling my G machine 69 Camaro - unfortunately. If interested let me know - quick glance = full hidden rollcage, full frame w/ mild steel tubing. Pro chassis work done, Alstons front stub, brand new LSX block, Pro 1 Dart heads, AC unit, Ididit steering column, wilwoods all around, custom differential case, Strange sst 35 or 40 splies. I was planning a 1500 - 1600HP twin turbo LSX so the car had to handle it. Needs body work and rear quarters. Have the evil twins also. The sky was the limit - was the limit. can send tons of photos.

Hey Gonemad, Thanks for the reply. I have been thinking about this more and more and decided to hold off for a while. Thanks to everyone who has sent me info, I will do it eventually, just not right now.

Thanks, Mike
