I'm down to these two...on my car www.mcspeed.com

I have to pull the 9" and have it shortened by 5" - in 2004 I had it built and widened to accomodate the C5 rear wheels without spacers. The Vette wheels do nothing for this car...Just need to pick out the right set.

what's the car look like currently? My choice would be the top picture.

you can pull up dozens of pictures at www.mcspeed.com
The car has been finished since 2005. I finally going back and tweaking on somethings I glossed over at the time - like the wheels, seats, and other minor details.
I really thought i wanted a five spoke. but that first wheel is killer looking.

My vote if for the top wheel.......I am not big on the 5 spokes anymore. Show us some pics of that car!!!!!!

What size wheels? That top one could get a little busy in a small wheel. I still like a 5 spoke:D but not that one some much. Little street rod to me, but that's my pick.

A classic 5-spoke design will always be timeless...but you're right, that one is screaming street rod to me too.
Have you looked at www.rushforthwheels.com ...?

Chris I like the top wheel, but wouldn't do full polish. I see the center section darker or machine finish.

I think you should go with the G cubes.
I'm a little biased.

Do you have a larger version of that picture?????
What size tires do you have there?

The tires are 295/35/18 in the rear and 235/40/18 in the front. I'll work on a bigger picture.

Okay guys...still hunting. Still like the G cube...but am now looking at other options. So...what do you think of these? Either set will cost me about $3,800 shipped with tires. These are much more than the Intro...but a whole other look too. Here is the lat-g link to the car.

I think the black center would look Billy Bad Butt on this...while the silver center would be neat and clean. The car needs a new attitude that it just isn't getting with the C5 wheels.

I like these two choice's better.
Thanks man...
does anybody know the exact maximum size and offset you can stuff in there on a stock suspension?
I get a little rub in the rear under hard turning or hitting bumps when I have the rear seat full of people - not enough to be an issue with the stock rear 18" C5 wheels
The front rub when I turn at a decent speed, or if I go into a drive or some sort of bump up. I assume 7" rim in the front with a 235 40 18 might stop that...but in the rear I would like to keep it maxed.
I'm going back to a stock width rear axle - would like to go 10 x 19 on the rim...and am curious about back spacing.

Thanks for all the support, Brandon! I agree, our site doesn't do the wheels justice but let us know if you want to see some client's cars running the wheels and we'll flood your inbox. Hard to go wrong with our Rated-X on anything from a 55 Bel Air to a 2010 Camaro.

Great discussion ... and thanks for all the info.
Jason...your wheels are awesome.
Can that twin spoke be done with just the center powder coated and lip left polished?
Looking at this one now too. I know I can have this powder coated and bolts installed around the outside with the bright hoop/lip (polished).

We sure can. All our designs are available in any finish in just the center, just the hoop or like that Camaro with the whole wheel as well as without perimeter hardware. John just wanted to do the entire wheel in that finish on his car.
Here's a shot of a powdercoated center and polished hoops.

There are so many great choices out there. I enjoyed talking with Jason the other day.
I'm very close to pulling the trigger. I am battling both style and price as I move forward.
As mentioned before...I'll have to pull my axle and have it shortened back to a stock 69 Camaro width (Ford 9" with Moser axles) before this will go. It seems to be about a month to a month in a half for any rim to be made and shipped. The rims seem to all come from California too...and I'm clear across the country from them.

Okay...I had never thought of the Rushforth until they were brought out to me on this thread...
BEAUTIFUL wheel - killer design, and wonderful telephone service.
Based on that...I think they are winners.
However...I ended up going with a different manufacturer. They are in the works...and will be one-off for my car. Therefore, I can't post a picture because they don't even exist yet! LOL
I was so torn as the Super Spoke quickly went to my number one choice after seeing them. You know though, picking the "right" wheel is like picking out the right engagement ring. When you see the right thing...you just know it.
Okay, hang on the typical 4-6 weeks...and I'll have something to show. Still have to yank my axle...blah, blah, blah so they will fit....

Revive an older thread....
Decision made - wheels on order.
I narrowed the 9" rear axle BACK to stock width.
Got the axle in this weekend.
The wheels I went with are a one-off set for my car.
I'm still waiting on them...will post pictures as soon as I can.

They came yesterday.
Dropping them off at Discount Tire today for a fresh set of Nitto something or another.
I test fit them on last night....PERFECT. The rear will be close - but no closer than it was with the 18" rear C5 rims and Goodyear runflats.
Guys...These wheels look amazing.
We had them powdercoated and clear coated in silver titanium.....
They are sort of a blend of many popular wheels styles on the market right now.
I liked a little of everything I had seen...but wasn't able to zero in on one specific pre-made set up.
Pics to come. I'll get the tires on today, mount them tonight...take some pics this weekend.

These are the intro prowler rims - 18x7 front and 19x10 rear.
They sent me a cool powder coat supplier website. I selected four different titanium shades then was sent color swatches to compare and decide. Once we locked and loaded on a color they were able to move forward.
The screws were added (looks only) and the centers were done with clear coat as well.
This is not a "boxed" combination from Intro.
I liked the look of the twin spoke - but it wasn't as aggressive as I preferred. This is a balance of all the looks I liked with a custom color. It is called Silver Titanium.

Thanks man...and you are correct. They are a kissing cousin to the twin spoke. There are subtle differences - but from a distance one might mistake one for the other.
I was torn between the two - really torn. Jason is a great guy and took time to tell me about his product...second to none. VERY HARD decision on my behalf.
