Oct Art Show

Hi Guys, I don't get over here much, but I like the art threads going on! Here's a new one for Oct.

The story behind the car is, I sold my 2006 GTO and bought this stock 78 Malibu for a driver so I could quit my day job and afford to take the chance on freelancing full time. So far it's worked out, and now I want to build the Malibu up to pay homage on the GTO I sold off: LS2 M6 (or A4). Here are tentative plans for it:

Nice! I like the fact that it's a G body too. Did we see this one as a dream ride in PHR mag a few months back? Keep the forum posted on the build.

As for the art show, we'll usually do a theme vehicle and then post up the first Friday of the following month. I.E., September's theme was redesign PHR's Laguna S-3 project car, and we're posting today, the first Friday in October. I usually post the new theme car a day or two after that first Friday. If any of you guys want to send a suggestion for a theme car just pm me. I've got a bunch in mind but 'll take suggestions too. Please participate in the monthly show and feel free to post other than theme cars throughout the month. For a run down on how we're running things, check here...

Ben already has us all set up with a monthly art show. See his posts, he puts together a theme and all that fun stuff. But we don't do it weekly.

Yep, with client work and other things going on, most of us are crunching time just to do it once a month, so that's where it's at for now. However, the monthly show surrounds a theme car (or whatever you want to contribute), but anybody's welcome to post anything else throughout the month - not necessary to wait till the Friday show. :D
