The Lateral-g.net October Feature of the Month is Empty Nest by Prodigy Customs. It's a bad ass car with perfect stance. The car was built from basically nothing, making the final product even that more impressive. Frank and Lisa wrote a great story to go along with the Feature, be sure to check it out.

I just watched the videos Frank. That thing is Awesome. Looks like a handful to drive, but a blast. Hefty torque curve coming out of the corners...

Outstanding car!! I got a chance to see it in person at SEMA last year, just stunning. The video at the drag strip really shows how nasty that engine is, sounds great

Thanks to Scott, we are so honored to be featured in a community of so many killer cars. Lisa, Michael and I really do appreciate all the kind comments.

We were having a weird accelerator peddle problem I could not figure out. it felt like the car was nosing over on the big end of the track, like the throttle blades were closing. As it turned out the 2 piece Lokar gas pedal was racheting and the throttle blades were closing as I went down the track. On the run in the video the throttle racheted until it finally just stripped completely about half track and I lost all throttle action.

What was happening was I was trying to push the pedal through the floor, and there was air space under the pedal. So leason learned. If you use a 2 piece peddle, put a stop under it!

Congrats Frank and every one at Prodigy! Car looks great and in my opinion, the pictures do not the car justice. It is even better in person!

Ditto. Seeing at SEMA just confirmed how nice and perfect this car is after seeing it online. A work of art for sure.

Congrats.

Your turn Frank, how about a fraternal twin '69 hardtop with the paint scheme of the '76 Anniversary T/A?

The first rendering was black and gold! We made the 11th hour switch to white and blue. We have another convertible donor, may build another black and gold but I will need to find a sugar daddy to do another. it would be badd ass though!

We had a few inquiries asking about the car for SEMA and one vendor really wanted it bad to do what we would require to send a car, but the car went last year Mario.

I kinda feel like I would be the old news guy

"Oh, that's the Firebird I saw last year"

And I think people are looing for fresh stuff at SEMA. So I will probably only take cars one time to SEMA unless there is a real compelling reason to send one a second time.

I am only taking one car to SEMA this year, MotiV8tr and it is in the Centerforce Clutches booth right accross from the GM display. Come and see me, would love to meet.
