I know there are a few dealers of hydratech boosters on this site. Perhaps someone can awnser my question. Is the the line set packaged with the booster long enough to reach the rack on an aftermarket 69 camaro subframe. Are there any issues with the install on a rack? Thanks Rich

Yes - the lines are supplied in standard form at 4' lengths, with the hose ends assembled onto the hoses where they connect to the brake assist unit, left overlength and unassembled on the other ends (to accomodate as many popular combos as possible). We learned many years ago that routing the lines throughout the engine compartment is subject to individual tastes, where one small change in routing could yield a big change in installed hose lengths. At first some complained about having to assemble their Aeroquip TFE series hoses (on the ends that connect to the PS pump and steering gear), though we felt the benefits of allowing the end user to tailor their line lengths well outweighed the hassle of AN hose assembly. We have thousands of customers that have run our systems with the rack conversions, all finding ample hose to work with (with the 4' supplied hose lengths). The only issues with the rack is to make sure that whomever supplied you with the rack also was kind enough to supply you with the AN adapters to go with that specific rack. There are some aftermarket "mystery racks" out there where finding the right AN adapter can be *fun* without knowing the exact year / make / model that it started life as...
