My cars on the way to Comp-Spec!!

Everyone here has been incredibly generous and I thank you all once again!

The car is on it's way to Competition Specialties for the body and paint redo. The transporter used a roll back tow truck to get it to their place of business where it will be loaded onto the transporter and make the 3000 mile trip from Oregon to Mass.! Pete has been patiently waiting for the car and will get right at it when it arrives...that should be in about a week. Thanks again Pete for really stepping up and helping me out!

I want to thank SW for helping me find a transporter....thanks again!

And Mario (DOOM) needs thanked again for suppling the materials for the job! Mario, you should be getting that phone call from Pete real soon!

Other's (Jody & Stuart) have really stepped up and helped with a few parts that I needed to move forward with the project, and now there is another name to add! Mike (Muscle Rodz) has donated some MUCH needed OE parts. Thanks Mike, you know how much I appreciate it!

Here are a few pics from just an hour ago! I'm very excited to have the car on it's way and being fixed by a REAL pro....nothing but good times now!! :yes:

That's awesome Anthony. Good to see it's going to get done right this time. I've got a TON of work to do on my car and I really hope this kind of thing doesn't happen to me. I can't wait to see the results when you get your car back. Hopefully there can be some good updates on the progress while the car is at Competition Specialties.

I know when Curtis started 'the thread' he had no idea what was going to happen and certainly never though anything like this! I can't thank him enough for "just wanting me to get things off my chest"!

Wow....It's amazing to watch all this unfold. My buddy Anthony is once again energized and excited about his project. This was like a big LG intervention and we pulled Anthony back from the edge. Thanks to everyone who donated in any way, however big or small, to help my friend. I am so looking forward to pictures and even more so to driving the car. (Yes Anthony I'll fly in from Dubai, if I move there, to drive the car).

I met Pete last weekend, seems like a really good guy. I mentioned that I thought what he was doing for you was pretty awesome, He just kind of shrugged off like it was no big deal by saying "We'll jump on it and just get it done". Well you know what Pete, it is a big deal! Not to many people would do something like that for someone today.

I have a good feeling that Pete is going do an awesome job on your Camaro Tony!

Honestly, I like the blue, but I have a lot of bad memories attached to this color and I wouldn't mind a fresh start. So I am working with Carter again and we are trying to come up with something new. I just can't say enough about Carter, he's such a great guy to work with and is willing to try anything...design wise. :)

I was just lookin at comp-spec website and they have a really nice blue 2004 Corvette in there gallery..i could be wrong but it really looks like they painted it new Corvette color Jetstream Blue...i think that would look hot on a 1st gen camaro :thumbsup: ..either way looks like your in good hands
