Having built an award winning show chopper, and loving the build process as much as anything, it is hard to come on here and admit that i just "purchased" a car, and am not introducing a new build. But at my current stage in life (3 kids under 7 yrs old, business, etc.) this is what makes sense! But you better believe I will be making some changes and making it my own:unibrow:

I have been a lurker, and minimal participator on this site. Over a year ago, I almost started a '69 Camaro build, but chickened out due cause I knew it would never get completed. Then I "settled" on what I considered modern muscle. This supercharged C5 Z06 vette. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b170/swchopper/P6082454.jpg

It was a BLAST, but I sold it cause it just still wasn't what I wanted. Then I came across "Chrismoe" (screenname). What a STUD! It is a long, long, long story, (many of you know Chris, and Frank, who was getting the car-Long story) but in short, the twin turbo 64 Chevelle loaded on the truck today and will be here Sunday! WOOHOO! NO SLEEP TIL SUNDAY:willy:

From the pictures I have seen, you just purchased an EXTREMLY nice car !!!!

I have met Chris a few years ago and could instantly tell he had good taste in cars! He spoke highly of this one too !

I like it for some reason............... :unibrow: I spoke with the builder of that car at Hot August Nights, super nice guy. No shortcuts in that build, should be a lot of fun.

Wonder what happened to the deal on the C6 Z06 w/ 4musclemachines.

The Z06 deal still happened. I definitely don't want to speak out of turn for Chris, or 4MuscleMachines. Again, it's a long story. To sum it up, it all just fell together perfectly for each party involved. It ended up being a three way deal (I know I just opened a can of worms for that joke!)
4MuscleMachines has a project he wants to complete, and I think this allowed him to pursue get it going.
Changes planned: don't know yet. I definitely need to make it my own. Given the level of car already, I definitely won't be doing anything drastic or hard. But I am thinking wheels, maybe some sheet metal work in engine compartment, etc. I don't know yet, and it's hard to say as I haven't even seen it in person yet. Suggestions:question:

Really nice score, there is not much I would change on the Chevelle. It's a killer car from what I can tell in the pics.
