First off...Love the site! Lots of great work going on here. My name is Paul and I am a shop owner in Alabama (SVP Unlimited). We specialize in primarily Mustangs...everything from restoration to custom builds and do everything from mechanical to paint work. Jason is my right hand man and he stumbled across this site. We stay covered up and have 2 car builds going on right now that fit in with you guys with the lateral-g theme....this is what I like to see anyway personally ;). We are building a '93 Mustang Cobra and a '67 Mustang Convertible....with the '67 being far more radical than the '93. Those are both customer cars and I have plenty of my own projects that I never seem to find the time to work on as well. Both cars are currently on Rotisseries and scheduled to be finished for the Ford 45th anniversary show at Barbers Motorsports park here in Leeds, AL which is only about 10-15 minutes from our shop.

The 67 started out as a decent looking car and was bought as a rust free car to build but after we got into it we found a seam across the floors and rockers where it was 2 cars put together and then once it was soda blasted we found a ton of covered up mess/holes under the car....so this one became a true "frame off" on a unibody car...we had it down to basically 4 rails welded to our frame table and rebuilt the car from the rails up. Now it's back on the rotisserie as we await the suspension pieces to set all that up.

The 93 was a high mileage Cobra that suffered from a broken valve spring that ended up grenading the entire engine. We have built our own subframe system, retrofitted an '03 Cobra IRS into it and will be installing a Ford Racing Boss 347 with a 6 speed manual transmission.

It's nice to find a site with a forum of like minded gearheads/builders:thumbsup:

Jason and I will be attending SEMA this year and look forward to meeting some of you guys out there:cheers:

I thought I'd also add my SVO Mustangs to this....one is more of a street car and the other while street legal is the more serious car. Both cars have a Turbocharged 2.59L stroked 4 cylinder. The red/yellow one dynoed at 386RWHP. The red car has a Griggs GR40 suspension with watts link, 13" front brakes with Brembo 4 piston calipers and the teal one is mostly stock type suspension with aftermarket control arms and tubular K member but I narrowed the mounting track in order to fit 9" wide wheels under the stock fenders and upgraded the brakes to 13" fronts with PBR calipers and '01 Cobra 12" rear brakes.

Nice vehicles! I'll have to swing by your shop when I get back to B'ham. I have a '68 coupe and a '68 fastback that I am working on. The coupe was my first car (289,C4) I've had since '98. I found the fastback in Baldwin Co. in '06 and have started a rotisserie restoration/vintage-touring build up. It's nice to know there is a mustang shop in the area. If the metalwork on the fastback gets to be too much for me to handle...I'll be giving you a call.

Are you going to have a booth/tent at the 45th MCA show @ Barber?

Jeremy, Thanks!... come on by anytime....always good to meet another Mustang nut in the area ;).

I am not going to have a booth at the 45th as I'll be busy with the local club helping run things but a lot my customers cars and a few of my own will be there. I plan to get in some track time as well....it's going to be a whirlwind of a weekend!
