The mill work on these must be a nightmare. They sure do an incredible job. If I had a 67-68 I would buy one of these. But I have a 69 and already bought them for that.

The actual machining of them doesn’t look bad to do I bet the are probably cut in two steps probably no more than One hour machine time if that it also depends on the grade of AL as to your speeds/feeds, but is the programming that can be a NIGNTMARE. I don’t know what you guys are programming with if any thing other than you brains, but to do that with only conventional tooling (no special ground end mills) on a three-axis machine involves some very tedious calculations. Hopefully you have some type of cad/cam package. Other wise the time involved with writing the code buy hard could make it very difficult to make this a profitable operation.

I talked With Maqruez about the tail ligths at the get together at Steve Sandlins place during sema and he said the new versions compared to original prototype would be much thinner and the lenses would be lager. Whenever envisioned and machined tail light for a 67-68 this is exactly what I saw in my mind. Good work guys now I don’t have to do it my self I can just buy them from you.

Awesome. I'll take a pair. I just saw a pair of Marquez 69 taillights for the first time and they are works of art.

Put me on the wait list.
