I think used is your only option.
I put a wanted ad on realoldspower.com for you
Check Desert Valley Auto Parts http://www.dvap.com - we've gotten lots of clean rust-free Olds parts for our '71 from them.

I'm not sure if the company "YEAR ONE" would have what you are looking for.
You can try them.:)

Where are you located?
During your search, keep in mind that 70, 71 and 72 supports are all different. 71 and 72 will interchange but are not the same at the top front edge where the grilles meet up (72 has an upward bump to clear the grille side edge). 1970 core supports are very different in this area due to shorter grilles. Nobody reproduces these supports.
I have a beautiful '72 core support from a New Mexico car. It was sanded and lightly primed - No rust, No repairs. $300 plus the ride from W. PA near Pittsburgh, but I'd hate to crate this thing. It's huge and heavy. I'll guess that your customer's support is rotted in the battery area?

If it's the battery area, there is a patch panel made for them. Also try Fusick's, I always have good luck with them.

The Parts Place shows a part number on their website but no pricing info.

Where are you located? I can probably point you to a serious Olds guy in your area who may be able to help you find one quickly if you are near NorCal, Dallas, Connecticut, Ohio, Austin, St. Louis and more...
