For sale is a 24 foot Pace American enclosed car trailer. It is in great shape both inside and out. OK some specifics:

It has a 3 foot tongue rated at 2,000 pounds (standard for big, enclosed car trailers).

It has in internal payload capacity of 7,000 pounds.

Dual axles, of course.

The internal, useable space is 22 feet long and the space BETWEEN the wheel wells is 82 inches. I use it to haul a big car with room to spare.

I am going to include a class five hitch \ ball that fits the trailer.

I am also going to include a forged steel torsion bar setup that attaches the trailer to the specially made hitch. This setup works great, much better than a chain-based setup and costs over $500.000.

It is an emergency break-away brake system.

It has electric brakes.

It has 4 nearly new, trailer-specific tires.

It comes with two nearly new spares.

It has 9 D-Rings mounted to the walls. Very cool setup.

It has 6 D-Rings mounted to the floor.

Wood floor.

It has 2 side doors; One full size door on the passenger side and a 3/4 door on the driver side. Very rare option.

It has a huge, ramp door for loading.

It has a beaver-tail inside for loading lower cars (look at pictures for an example).

It has Pace American's Independent Torsion Suspension System (ITS).

It has a diamond plate, steel lower front.

It has a diamond plate steel lower ramp.

It has independent interior lights operating on two batteries mounted in a custom enclosure.

It has 2 roof vents with exterior covers. And the rear vents has an internal fan.

All electrical works. IE..the brakes, the brake lights, the tail lights, the blinkers, etc.

I am including 4 top-of-the-line ratcheting tie downs as well as 4 top-of-the-line axle straps (pictures).

I am also including a Master Lock setup that includes the locking hitch ball pin; the locking hitch rod; and the locking coupler ball you use to prevent someone to from stealing the trailer when it is not attached to your truck. All 3 of these pieces all use the same Master Lock key. Cool.

It uses a large, 7 pin cable connector.

Have receipts for all work I have had done to the trailer by a local shop.

Just had the wheel bearings re-packed and the brakes checked 200 miles ago. Have a receipt for that service as well.

The trailer has a permanent registration so the "tags" are always current.

The trailer hauls \ tows great. Very smooth and no "tail wag".

Here is a link to an Internet picture hosting site with many pictures of the trailer.:

To really see these pictures well you need to click on the link and once at the site, click on any one of the pictures to start a slide show of 5 X 8 pictures. Once the slide show starts you can click on any 5 X 8 picture to see it in full screen.

That is pretty much it. The only reason I am selling the trailer is because I am getting rid of my show \ go car. The price is $4,250 and it is absolutely firm. Look around, this is a pretty darn good deal. The forged steel torsion bar setup, the tie downs \ axle straps and the 3 piece Master Lock stuff would cost $750.00 by itself.

Give me a call at (650) 888-7520 if interested. Trailer is located in Nor Cal. Zip code is 95129

Thanks,
Chris

Hope you are well. It is a 1994 Pace American. It is built just like a new trailer (actually better) and the floor was replaced in 2001. It is a great trailer.

And just to be clear. The oil spots on the floor are from the prior (original) owner. He used it to haul his sand rail and ATV's around. These spots are not from me and do not affect the trailer.

Thanks,
Chris

Moose,

Thanks. I wish a lat-g member would have bought it. But, I think it went to a good home.

Take care,
Chris
