I think I'd like to see the Asanti.. cuz you don't see many 6 spoke wheels on Camaros.

My car just got tubbed and it's sitting lower than the picture here.
I'm still contemplating colors for paint so don't consider the color.
The wheels will have a brushed center. Sorry the picture is so large.

Here's a picture from Feslers website, this camaro has those asanti rims.

Unfortunately, my rims will not have that deep of a dish because my rear end is not that narrow. Dish will be around 3" deep for the rear.
I'm going to call Fesler Tuesday and find out the scoop and lead time for a rim like this

I think this car is bitchen!

I think those are going to be very expensive. Every set I ever price is strong. I still think we need to sell your rear and order you a narrowed rear. Yours would sell quick on here. Lots of guys NOT doing mini tubs would love to save a few bucks on a rear with Prodigy Bar / Air Bar / G Bar brackets already welded on it. Then you can get the narrow rear and that deep lip.

Price for the Asanti version is $4k (don't know about the fesler version.)

Frank, I decided to keep my rear. Thanks for the offer.

Richrich youll have to get the fesler 907s cause asanti now only offers those in 22" and 24" unless those are the sizes you had in mind lol.
i believe chris's are around 3500.

rich-allen
08-31-2008, 10:58 AM
If I decided to go that route, 3500 is better than 4000. That extra 500 hundered bucks will get me a tire. :_paranoid

Out of the choices you posted...Definitely the Fikse!

Have you looked into the Forgeline wheels? Frank at Prodigy can hook you up on a good wheel/tire combo.

rich-allen

Actually I had two other choices, one was forgeline the other was CC wheel

Forgeline

None of the above. Try the C20 from HRE. Or the Fikse Profil 13.

If you've got the coin go for the Asanti's. its great looking wheel. But because of the cost not a common found wheel.
But I think the Rushforth Rated X's are not only a bargain wheel compared to that of the Asanti, but truely turn any car into a bad a$$. Kenny's Camaro went from subtle smooth to bad ass G-Machine with a simple wheel change:
(amazing what wheels can do and not do)

If you have not bought the wheels yet, give me a few days here as we are adding over 15 new wheels to the Fesler line and I can get you a killer deal on them. For those of you who do not know Asanti builds our wheels and we are going full force now with many new styles coming out.

We will have 22-24 wheels in the next few weeks with some killer new stuff that you guys will love. I can do wheel and tire packages as well and can beat any price out there in the three piece wheel line I am sure just PM me.

I will post some shots up here very soon of the new styles so you can see if there is anything you like. We can do almost any size and finish you guys will need at great prices.

I don't like the look of the "flipped" rim, with the valvestem on the inside so only the Fikse really did it for me

I voted Fikse. Maybe I am kinda old school but I like the stepped lip. The Rushforth's are nice and cost less but they are a two piece wheel. I would be happy with either but it really depends on what look you want: IMO Fikse = Race bread look, Rushforth = Nice Billet show type. Although the brushed finishes have more aggressive look which look good.

Good observation, Tom. I specifically designed my line to split the difference of the pure functionality of a Fikse or HRE R Series with the style, detail and smooth lip of a street rod billet wheel.

Our styles are also available in 3 piece and all of our designs are also available with or without hardware in 2 or 3 piece.

Regardless, We're flattered to be in the poll and among your top choices because I do know how tough it is and we are truly honored to be at or near the top of the heap. We know we have a lot of supporters here and we are grateful for it.

Im just going to bite my lip and not say anything.

I just feel a lot of the Honda guys and pro touring guys have something in common.that would be they both like the same style wheels.
10 spokes look down right strange on a muscle car period.

rich-allen
09-04-2008, 04:12 AM
I think most of the muscle cars have 5 spoke rather than 10 spoke wheels.

With that said, I can't find any common similarities between a honda and a muscle car.
Theres one wheel on the market that's been over played more than any other: TT2's

This statement being the most commonly dismissed piece of very important information when considering Rushforth Wheels. Take note everyone....

I like the look of the wheels on Chris' car a lot!

I already offered Rich a great deal on some fikse wheels, But my guess is he is going to get the deal on the HRE's that Tyler is offering him.

Just wait till you boys see the stance we put on this bad boy. We had to make our own wheel tubs to do it, but man she looks GOOD. Rich will see it in person on saturday.

I say 10 spokes, or 12 spokes for that matter, can look just right on the right muscle car with the right stance and overall design.
