Couldn't pass up a deal on this C5. This was a Corvette we painted about 6years ago that got sold.I got a call saying it was for sale. I went down and checked it out, it looked like this owner had not cleaned it since he bought it. He made me a deal I couldn't turn down. Brought it to the shop and made a few mods.....Started by wet sanding and buffing the car, and painted some matte black stripes. Then sand blasted the chrome z06 wheels and painted them black. Took out all the lights and painted them see through black. Added the z06 brake ducts on the rockers. Z06 sway bars, brakes, and titanium exhaust. We'll be swapping in a z06 motor that has been hanging around the shop from an old project, and a 200hp shot of N.O.S For now we'll be shooting the 200hp shot into the stock ls-1 see if she likes it Any way on to the pics.

What's up Jake? Let's hook up, We go up to Epping every Friday night. The first weekend in Oct. about 15 of us are taking a mini power tour up through VT, NH, ME and back down to MA. Maybe you can hook up with us 1 of the days. The plan is to run around 250-300 miles a day.
Oh and by the way the T-56 I got from you for my T/A is stil working flawlessly after 1000s of no lift power shifts :unibrow: thanks for that hook up.

Looks great. I think the C5 platform is about the best bang for the buck out there right now. I bought one myself a few months ago and it makes my '69 Camaro feel like a tractor.

Went to the track Friday night. Got the vette down to 11.3 @ 121MPH. Faster than I expected from a stock C-5/Automatic with 150 shot of NOS and a set of drag radials. Now I can't run it anymore until I put a roll bar in it.

Sweet! Nothing like going to fast for the setup! A roll bar is a good idea at that speed anyways!
