The question is does the bearing sit flush with the rear end? I would think so but when i install the axle the bearing will not go all the way into the tube, its about 3/16 from being flush and thats what i need for the c6 zo6 brakes to clear the backing plate for the e-brake, this has been a mightmare from the start

Thanks
Brandon

Sorry to say but it will not sit flush with that housing end. You'll either need to open the ID of the disc brake bracket , and then create a retainer with a stepped lip to hold the seal/bearing in place OR you could machine a relief into the disc brake bracket to clear the protruding seal. you might want to add some material on the other side of the bracket to ensure at least .250 of bracket is holding everything in. I can post some pics if it will help.

yes most bearings have either a .105 or a .120 lip, thus needing a spacer to use with the retainer so when tightening you do not bend bracket.
tobin at kore 3 can get you a spacer you need

Doea anybody know the part number for the outer seal? I have a moser 12 bolt and big ford ends as well. I screwed up my seal taking the axle out tonight.

outer seal? the bearing is sealed, and has a collar that locks in on in place, then there is a inner seal that press's in behind the bearing race.
seal# 15141 napa or anywhere can cross this number. i just put a new axle seal in today, in my moser 9 inch with the 12 bolt/9 inch bearing end
