Well after some debate BlackJack took a major turn to a completely different car .
I will post up the finished rendering as soon as we have it back from Hermance.
But for right now here is a teaser pic of what is to come. Color name is :Sun Oil Blue :unibrow:

This is where the F'n new guy gets himself in trouble 'cause he can't keep his big yap shut...but the Sunoco Camaro was the other, older Sun Oil Blue. How correct are you trying to be?

I gotta good feeling Ben and Jason will put there own twist on this thing. It's going to be awsome! One of my dream cars along with the grand sport. Being a major collector of sunoco.

I'm a Sunoco guy too. That's why I mentioned the other shade. The car is going to be great. I've been following its progress in the other thread. The newer Sun Oil Blue will definitely be more striking. No doubt.

I guess it would be the Newer Sun Oil Blue. The color is very cool. We are very excited to have the chance to do this to this car.

Cool:thumbsup: are you gonna run removable red headlight covers like Musclecar John has on his '69?
Have you seen the 3 piece 19"x12" Minilte Racing replica wheels? here's a link:-

They'd look well trick & would be pretty unique in the US, with maybe yellow or deep gold accents on the wheels "spokes"??

You have no balls if you don't do the yellow wheels. The big Minilites is a super cool idea also!

The wheels were already purchased, so they stay .
I do like yellow wheels and the original Rendering had Yellow HRE wheels.

I think that car looks absolutely awesome:hail: & I'm sure once you guys have finished it, it'll be up there with the best of them & draw crowds everywhere. Personally though, even if I'd already bought the wheels I'd have to sell them on & fit the Minilites. Not being disrespectful or anything, but the style of wheels in the rendering are on a bunch of cars now, whereas the Minilite style in 19" dia (in yellow:thumbsup: ) would be unique, totally suit the car & would really add to the impact of the project. Old school racer meets modern pro-touring, sort of thing.
Obviously I'm not the guy paying for things at the end of the day & it's up to you & the owner, but in my opinion it'd be a shame to short change the project on something like this. .

Jason & Ben , Looks great. Dont know how I missed this tread . Guess I need to come in from the garage. You know we should start our own pay-per view web site for sunoco cars & stuff. Scott.

I don't know how I missed this one either, but the Yellow wheels are an absolute must at any cost. The dark wheels totally take away from the theme. It sounds like you are leaning this way, just do it! Car looks fantastic! Can't wait to see it finished...
