proportioning Valve, Help Pick please.

OK Guys, where is the best place to mount the proportioning Valve on my set up. I want to try and hide it if possible. 69 Camaro, Standard Subframe. LS1, Stainless works headers, 4L60E trans, Hydroboost. I'm talking about the Main proportioning valve that is normally under the master cylinder. Picks would be great.

Eliminate it completely. Tee your front line at the left front brake hose and run your rear line solid to the rear. Put the prop valve between the hard line and flex hose from the body to the rear.

remember, the knob prop valve is a "set it and forget it" piece, so go do your field test, go under a few times to adjust, and your done.

Thanks Frank, I the guy helping me do the brakes advised I will need it for safety thats why I was going to use it. Do most of these auto cross cars just leave it out?

Frank is right, put it down low and adjust once and forget it. You need it in the system for better control. :thumbsup:

Clean is my middle name but having a proportioning valve under the master cylinder is no a big deal. Maybe I am lazy and don't want to have to crawl under mycar to make a brake bias change.:D I don't like where you have it do to header heat. The brake line should be on the outside of the frame. I have mine bent around the bulkhead, inside the parking brake nuts, down between the firwewall and inner fender, ...etc.
