Hello All! Most of you guys are probably over on Pro-Touring as well, so you've most likely already seen this lol. Names Nate, from Toledo, OH and been a jet engine mechanic in the Air Force for a lil over 8.5 years. Picked up my '80 Trans Am about a year ago and have had it in storage till recently when i bought a house. I actually just started yanking her apart this weekend.
Plans are as follows:
1980 Trans Am G-Machine
455 Crate (shooting for 500ish HP)
Tremec TKO 600
DSE Mini-tub and drop (2")
Nice set of 18x12s w/335 rubber out back and 18x9 in the front
Baer Brakes
Change paint color... thinking something silverish
The list goes on and on....

Its good to be here, and i look forward to learning, adding where i can, and getting to know you guys! Cheers!

I love it. Were doing a 78 Formula right now. Going to be a neat car.

Yours looks like a real clean start.

Yes, that's why its already out of the car and in my buddies garage :D
Most likely a 455 will replace it

Thanks again all for the warm welcome!

I don't think you should paint it. It looks awesome the way it is. Especially with the Turbo decals. Build a Turbo 455 to put in it!!!! BTW, great looking car. It's always easier when you have a car in great condition and you can just start piling on the mods!
