I just put an LS2 into a 65 GTO and It seems to lose power when operating at running temperature. I think I need an adjustment to my computer. I need to know of a place to go and get this looked at and given advise,
I live on Long Island, NY in suffolk county.
thanks steve

you can either get a good tuning system like HP Tuners of EFI Live and do it yourself, or find a good tuner in your area. If you let us know where you live someone will likely have a recommendation of a good shop.

You are correct, the factory tunes pull timing as the car temp and air temps rise. That's why many of them feel and run stronger when they are still cold.

There are many good tuners out there, but East Coast Supercharging in Cream Ridge, NJ is my pick for one of the best.

Chris and Doug have tuned two of my cars so far, a Magna charged ls1 in a
'67 Corvette, and my current car a '69 Camaro Vert with an ls7 built by LME.

They transformed both cars. I trust them completely and would recommend them to everyone for any LS based motor. They have an outstanding reputation from years of building high powered Vettes and LS based cars.

You will be totally amazed at what they will do for your car....

Hope this helps,

Matt

Give Manny a call at Super Street Performance/R&R Auto. They are in Farmingdale 631-770-0146. Not sure if they do LS motors, but they have a chassis dyno and access to tuners in case they don't do it in house. PM me if you want more info.

I know the guys/gals over at digitalcorvettes.com rave about this one guy that does tunes for their cars, LS engines. They all say he does a great job. I do believe he's out of Pennsylvania??
Hope this helps.
