17 and 18" fikse wheels on a 66 nova. On the scales. The staggered look is pretty nice on the 2nd gen novas.
Welcome aboard.

Well, we're here for you when you are ready. Here is a Nova we did recently with 17's, but 18's would work too. Really up to you. It's a matter of overall diameter, with tire, which we will suggest a good fit to you.
Our Rushforth Wheels are still 4 weeks out, and we'll give you the best deal possible.
Let us know!

And here is the HiTek Hot Rod's Nova with Rushforth Whiplashes 18" front, 19" rear. Also, you should look at some of the photo shops done by a guy over at Pro-Touring.com of a Nova with BIG diameter Rushforth Rated X's.

Hi Everyone,
Here's some info on HiTek's Chevy Nova Build that several of you saw in bare metal at Goodguys Columbus last month. Jason Rushforth did an awesome rendering of the car. A big "Thank You" goes out to Jason and to Jon at Driverz Inc for getting the wheels to us in time for the show.
As you all know the Wheels are Rushforth Whiplash - 18x8 and 19x10
The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 - 225/35/18 and 305/30/19
In order to accomodate the large wheels and tires we mini-tubbed the car in the rear and used an aftermarket TCI clip in the front. Essentially we altered the clip and "Z" it. We also used Art Morrison manderal bent perimeter rails in the rear and we custom fabbed the center section and 4-link. Here are some front and rear pictures of the car.
Also attached is a picture of our '67 Chevy II Nova "The Beast", 540 motor / 700 HP. This car was mini-tubbed and has an after market clip in front. Now if your planning on staying stock then 17" wheels are probably the biggest you can go.
If you want to get a little crazy you can insert an Art Morrison full frame show below. We're planning on putting this frame under our '66 Chevy II Nova build.
We would be happy to answer any questions on the builds. Also, we're dealers for various vendors and we can give you a great deal on products such as Art Morrison chassis, TCI and Heidts components, etc... Be sure to mention lateral-g.net.

Ok, here is your car with Livewires. Kind of a messy photoshop, but I thought this might help you get the idea.
One with polished, and one with black chrome or dark powdercoat.
Nice car by the way!

Just wondering do you have braided lines ran on your entire brake system? It looks like you do from the pics just wondering how it works for you? Sorry to change the subject and nice car too! Thanks,

Thanks Guys For The Compliments On The Car Its Nice To Finally Find A Forum Full Of Guys That Appreciate Old Cars Like I Do. "nova65ss" The Brake Lines Are All Braided Stainless And They Work Great. I Originaly Wanted To Run Steal Line But, The Flexable Braided Line Is So Much Easier To Work With.
