Alright , here it is. I mentioned the other night on "Chat" that I want to do something a little different on my Vert (69). I would like to have a cover made to fit over the convertible top well that would cascade down between the two seats , simular to the Corvette C-5. I have my seats set back so far that the rear seats are useless anyway. I watched Foose make the fiberglass front and rear ends for the Caddy's on Rides the other night (great show-does that guy ever sleep?) I was just wondering if any body here could give me a lead or a heads up. I would like it to snap in so the back seat area is still useful (subs, amps, storage, etc.)
Any thoughts?

Hey Jim
I have a great idea!! Call Chip Foose, tell him your problem, he'll bring a whole crew of automotive genius' to your front door, film it, even throw in a paint job to boot.
Just a thought.

I am better now. I had to go pick up my son from College (who by the way dropped two classes without consulting Mr. Money first By the way Mr. money looks just like me. . Worst part was he did it one day after they would refund your money-1200 bucks down the ****ter). another 400.00 and I could have purchased my Big Stuff 3. By the way he let me know this at the end of the semester(last night on the ride home). I know you are thinking- He picked his son up from school? Yes! That is where I took his vehicle from him after his mid term grades came and his first and second cell phone bill for 380.00 (distributor) and 400.00 (Wiring harness) came.
If he weren't the lone and sole bearer of the Hall seed, I'd have killed him already. :D
I feel much better now.Now what was this post about?

Jim,
Go see Hank Young in Marietta. But first, hire an artist to extract the vision rattling around in your head.

Outsourcing fabrication is THE hardest part of car building. You need to find a fabricator who is both talented and a good businessman. Bad fabricators will butcher your car (untalented) as well as delay your project and rob you blind (bad businessmen). Good fabricators will generally charge more (and tell you so at the outset), deliver in a timely fashion and involve you in the process.

Just wait till DSE moves and take your car with the interior full of $1 bills. :D
Oh wait, $1 bills are for something else! ;) Then again, some of us look at cars that way too!

Yeah. That's him. If he can't help you, he'll probably know who can.

Went by Hank's place today, man you should have seen all the stuff he had going on in there. Mostly Motorcycles though. They were all too busy to do what I wanted "come back in a year". They thought the idea was a great one, but they were just too busy. They referred me to a guy across the street, said he was a great fabricator, went by to see him, not in. I'll try tomorrow.
Or I 'll call Foose. Or I'll flip a coin, heads Foose, Tails Dude not in. Best 270 out 539 wins.

Hey Jim, we built a pretty trick setup for the Inciner8or. If Foose is too busy, give me a call! I think we fit Steve's criteria of talented and cost a little more...
