Well, its time to step my Mustang up a notch!
I have a 73/71 Mustang Mach-1 (Phat-1) and now its time for some big brakes to fill my 18" and 20" combo.

I have a full front 14" brake kit from Wilwood with the Superlite 6 Big Brake hub kit for Prospindle with 14.00" diameter vented rotor.
The spindles are 2" drop prospindle Kit pn 830-9807 and is meant for a 69 Mach-1 with Mustang II frontend.

Well here it goes, i have original spindles and frontend on my Mustang.
What can i do to make this fit ? I have yet to find someone that makes other spindles for the 71-73.
Can i just use the original spindles?

The kit is bought from Prodigy Custom

Hope someone here can help me :)

Back when we ordered you were switching to Mustang 2 components. That is the first Pro Spindle set up on the planet. Has the plan to use Mustang 2 stuff changed?

I do not know of any replacement 71-73 spindles. Have you measured to see if the Mustang 2 stuff you got is the same or close? I doubt the Hubs would fit your original or replacment spindles as they are designed to fit those Pro Spindles (which are Mustang 2 stuff).

Let me know

Hi there :)
Im actually a buddy of the guy who bought the parts from you, and he has plans on Mustang II stuff..
Changes has been made on his project so i can now buy them from him.

I havent measured it yet though, but my brother said something about that the original ones are missing the caliper bracket place to screw them on

The rear set is the 140-10012 with big bearing Ford, new style.
What will the new style means? witch ford rearends are that?

OK, that explains it.

As for the NEW style Ford, that is what is called the "Torino" end.

Here are the different end housing measurements.

You need to measure the pattern on the axle end bolt pattern.
