Hey All,
I'm Henry, the newest MOPAR FREAK to become a member on this awesome forum/site. I am in the process of breathing new life in my 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner, currently just a shell in need of a paint strip and body work. Being a new home owner and trying to continue my education my project funds are at a minimum, all donations accepted, :unibrow: but I have compiled a ton of parts (suspension, wheels, interior, brakes) with the intent on 'mashing' 2 of Plymouth's best lookers into 1 hot package. Roadrunner sheet metal with a hint Prowler all over. Wheels, dash,& paint. My current dilemma is the drive train, do I keep and redo the matching numbers 383 big block and 727 transmission including EFI ignition, or find and pick up a chub inducing 6.1 hemi and auto stick combination......?
I really dig everything I have seen so far on this site, so any and all input would be appreciated!

Welcome, Pharcyderide. Great to see another Mopar guy come on board. Cool sound project, and I'd say go for the 6.1 Hemi and store the numbers matching parts.

Go with the Hemi. There is nothing more trick than an old musclecar with todays modern technology under the hood.
Besides, when someone asks if that things got a Hemi they will know just by the smile on your face.

Go for it!!

Sweet another roadrunner, mine is a 69. Id say drop in an Indy cylinder crate Hemi.
