Story goes, i've been searching for another mustang for some months... sold my xr8 falcon to fund it. Nothing much came up that i was excited about.

Until i came across this 68 original big block SS. The thought of feeding a 454 is a little daunting, but it is only a toy.

Car was originally a 396 car, but the car had a transplant just before it left the U.S some years back. It was imported to Australia in 1988, and hasn't seen the road here yet. The RHD drive conversion has been done, but not engineered yet.

Will post pics when i get it in the coming week.

Ruff's 68 is my inspiration.

ha ha ha. I read the "searching for another Mustang" and said great not another Camaro. That BB blew that Mustang vision completely away, huh? Pics. Pics. Pics.

actually i had my eye on a very sweet 69 mach 1, but couldnt come up with the money for it in time.

I've already had a mustang a few years back, so this will be a nice change.

Cool. Are muscle cars hard to come by in Australia?

There's probably more mustangs and camaro's over here now then there. But they are ridiculously expensive here. (most have been converted to RHD in previous years though. The laws have only recently changed to allow a LHD car to be driven regularly)

Not many nova's/challengers/chargers and the likes here, but still quite a few. American cars have a big presence here, but unfortunately most of them are staying parked up a lot with the current price of fuel.

I used to use my 66 mustang coupe as a daily driver, was affordable a few years back, but this new toy will be a weekend toy only.
