To complement my Rushforth Superspokes I called Tobin Knighton @ KORE3 and ordered up a complete C6 Z51 brake kit for my Firebird. You can't believe the quality and service that Tobin provides! He guided me through every step and offered great advice geared toward my intended driving applications.
My Firebird will have DBA 13.4" & 13" rotors front and rear with KORE3s matching black powdercoated PBR calipers and all the hardware to make the install a breeze. And the best part? He has everything in stock and I'll have them in just over a week!
Tobin is great to deal with and I highly recommend KORE3 to anyone who wants a great product delivered in record time with great advice and customer service!
Check out KORE3s kits @ www.KORE3.com or call Tobin at 1-800-357-5467

Ty,
Did the C6 kit change your front/rear backspacing at all? BTW, what did that kit cost? Looks like a quality package.

Not really, but Tobin at KORE3 went way above and beyond and contacted Jon at DriverzInc directly to make sure they'd fit and that the backspacing on the wheels would work etc!
Unbelievable customer service from Tobin, Jon & Jason!!!
Just call Tobin... he'll hook you up!

I'll be going that route too soon with the '69 Ty but I've been hesitant about going big because that will severely limit my wheel choices for that car and as you know...I do like to change my wheels up.
When I do though,I'll be calling Tobin.

When I do though,I'll be calling Tobin.john if your still gonna switch wheels out on the 69 then i would just do c5 size brakes 13' 12' they will still fit 17s fine and have plenty of stoping power... or if you decide a different brand just stick with 13' fronts...

I meant that eliminates me going back to my old-school 15" AR 200's wheels then, huh?
Thanks for the advice though AJ...as always.

Computer problems have prevented me from posting pics before now but here are a couple of quick shots of these incredible brakes...
I can't thank Tobin @ KORE3 enough as he truly went way above anything any customer could expect in making sure I got great brakes for my car and ensuring (with Jon @ DriverzInc) that they'd fit my car without issue.
I think these will be a big improvement over my factory manual disc/drum set up, don't you? LOL
