Have any of you seen this? This is pretty wild, but I wonder how it handles those little fender benders. Talk about cars coming to life.

I'm sure the material and structural uses are far advanced and BMW is taking it to a new level no doubt - but I will say I think I've seen this concept for about 20 years with dune-buggies and dare say a Jeeps top (along with other apps). Dune-buggies have a basic roll gage and in dusty environments I've seen for years canvas stretched over the frame instead of sheet metal. I showed this to my Dad and he said – super advancement on the covered wagon. It is very cool - glad to see this line of thinking.
Those headlights are wild!

It's ALIVE!!
Ha,
I saw that a while back. Also on the horizon, paint that repairs it's self when scratched. And it can change color at the click of a dial.

Talk about MONOCOAT on steroids! Very cool!
Tracy, closest thing you can find to that material in finished colors is MONOCOAT. Used on RC airplanes. You can glue it on and shrink it over any fixed shape.
