I need to find a front drive system for my SBC and i need it to be a little on the smaller side... due to less room infront of my engine.. S10 pick up. with twins and a 5" thick intercooler.

I Myself have narrowed it down between the Billet specialties truetrack black annodized, and the vintage air system. Anybody know of any other companys I can contact about a good front drive system?

Thanks Guys.

Synister and March also make compact setups.

The limiting factor in depth is the overall length of the AC compressor, so all the systems should be very close in overall depth.

Personally, after seeing all of them my preference is for the VA Frontrunner... looks good, the main truss design is very strong (stronger than the others IMO)-- and it also helps I know a VA dealer and can get it at cost.

I vote for the Billet Specialties Tru trac. Have it on the 68' and also on 63' impala wagon were building. I have sold many of them as well because to their looks and function!

I'll be using it on my 55' once I decide on an engine :D

Well after much deliberation with my self.... A/C will not be needed... and this should free up soem serious amount of room for me.

Be sure to check Jones Racing Products, too!

I'm glad I did. Their stuff is well-designed, fits right, and works very well. It's quite compact, too.
