Hey everyone,
I know ther are a couple of you on this forum who do rims and figured this would be a good place to start. I have a new project coming in and the customer would like a three peace rim or the look. We are stuffing a 345/35/19 viper tire under a 71 Cuda with all XV motorsports suspension front and back. Who ever responds to the thread can you submit some pics of the rims. Much appreciated!!!

Check out www.Forgeline.com then check our website for multiple cars running Forgelines. www.ProdigyCustoms.com.
You won't find a better wheel then Forgeline at any price, and our prices are killer.
Let me know if I can help.

Have you seen that car in person? The wheels look perfect, better than in the photos. (If you have, and still think they are ghetto fabulous, I will shut up and respect your opinion!)

Yo !!
Thanks for all the replys. My customer has'nt seen the Forglines yet. I think they have some bada$$ rims and choices so I hope he likes the line considering were going to need 19's. He's out of town till next week. If there are anymore companies out there let me know? Until then thanks again guys.
Sounds like a great project and we'd love to have a set of Rushforths on it.
We can make you 2 or 3 piece wheels in a variety of styles and finishes and have them on your door in 5 weeks or less.
There are a bunch of photos of our latest designs on the Wheel/Tire section and I can email you a pdf of our new catalog. That also goes for anyone else who would like to PM me or Jon their email addresses.

Wow, wasn't expecting a hostile response, not sure what I did to set you off, I was just trying to make the point that in my opinion, the wheels look good, and your view on them may change if you saw them in person, that's it. And people disagree with my opinion every day....

I'm not being hostile. Maybe the picture doesn't do it justice. From the picture, that style of wheel looks like the SUV's all around town rollin' hardcore on 24's and they really, really annoy me.
Sorry if I came off like a jerk. I should have elaborated.

Hey All
Thanks again for all the replys. The project is finally moving. Just got the car back from the sandblaster (he's ownly 50 feet from my door step). We did the engine compartment and underside so we can start on the suspension parts. A couple areas in the engine bay need some rust repair but other than that she looks good for a 37 year old. Sorry to the rim guys that I did'nt get back to you. Don't count us out yet because the owner has'nt made a choice just yet. So there's still a chance. He really likes a company in canada I think it's called R.W.O. not sure. But I'am trying to get him to lean towards one of you guys. Here's a couple pics to things started. Oh yea forgot the front down bars are getting ripped out and moved forward. Trust me it was the first thing I told the customer!!

The owner is pretty stuck on his ideas. I can only throw so many things at him. So this build is more of his style and my exacution to make it happen. I'am limited on this build as far as style. I think it will look pretty cool though. I'am going to smooth alot of the engine compartment and at least some of that I will have some say. Remeber I can't say much he is paying the bills. I can only do the best of my ability. He still is questioning the rims? Here's a pic of his other car

Here's a couple shots of some progress. I've been smoothing the frame rails and doing the neccisary mods for the new XV suspension that has yet to show up. So in the mean time we got rid of some rust and made some custom inner fender wells and opened up the front radiator suppots for a bigger radiator.

I'm not a fan of the high offset look either. But that car needed it because of the suspension. They look awesome with a deep lip though! Remember that is all a part of a custom built wheel, i.e., built to fit.
I would like to see a set of our wheels on that car. Let us know if we can aid in any way. Glad to help.

Sorry for the delay. All this wating and all the customer gave me was the rim size 18x9.5 and a number 5-1143 if that means anything. The company is R.H.O. out of Austrilia. Also if it helps the rearend is stock length. Sorry for the wait with no real answer!!!

Ben busy figuring things out. XV motorsports IMO isn't the greatest. There instructions, parts organization, and recieving parts isn't good. It's been months and were still missing stuff. O'well heres the latest. Had to redo the upper control arm/shock mount. The caster was way off so we had to reposition from where the instructions tell you to place it. Got that fixed. Cut out the shock tower and replated it flat for a different but cool look and better reinforcment. Put everything together for test fit and suspension check. Then welded it up. Got the new 7 spoke HRE'S today. Let me say BAD A$$ !!!!! brushed centers and black satin hoop. 19x13 back and 19x10 front w/ 345/35/19 and 255/35/19. Also check out the Bear 15" rotors and 6 piston calipers. This car is sick!!!!
Sharp looking wheels. I also went with the satin black hoops (Forgelines) - gives the tires a meater/thicker look to the side wall and looks good on the old mopars. Keep up the work - this is a sick build!

John,
I'll have to find out the part number on the rims. The customer ordered them.
As far as the tubs go I will probaly build inside and outside for good tire clearence it's pretty close and also to square it off on the outside wheel well incase the car ever gets lowered more. I'll fabricate them just like the factory so they will attach on the fender lip. Can't stand it when people attach them to the side of the body. Will post pics when I get there
