In my Camaro I have placed my radio antenna under the dash, it is a short rubberantenna. My problem is that the signal to the stereo is poor and now with my LS1 PCM just next to the antenna and a lot of other electrical stuff I get disturbance in the radio.
How have you guys solved this without having an external antenna wich I don't want to have. Could it be hidden in the trunk and get good reception?
Tell me...

Dakota digital sells hidden antenna kits in summit racing for like 70 bucks, i think they also sell some antennas that stick onto the inside of your windshield and then you run you wire down to you radio, ive never used either one but thats what im planning on using on my car.

A friend of mine mounted his under the car on the frame. Looks cool and work great. I think he got it from Lokar.

are you talking about the Summit mini antenna mounted under the frame? Where specifically did he put it and what should you consider in finding a suitable mounting point? Any issues with it?

Thanks Joni,
I found one that will arrive any day, I'll see how it works. Cost only €9,9 It wasn't Blaupunkt but hopefully it will do the job.

Has anyone looked into getting the antenna guts from a newer corvette that uses the hidden antenna inside the side mirrors?
