Hey guys,

I know this isn’t automotive but figured I’d share.

Had some excitement last Thursday at 5:28 pm central time and thought I would share a few pictures. I live in Kearney Nebraska and we had 6 tornados sighed but not sure how many actually touched down. Most of the damage you’ll see in the attached photos is just a block or so from my house but one of the tornados either went right over us or just in front of our house. There were no injures as the sirens were sounded 10 minutes before the excitement. Afterwards nothing but carnage, trees, buildings, cars and power poles, in fact I don’t have to go back to work until Wednesday due to no power.

That's ugly, Craig. Glad to hear you made it through ok. What's going on in that pic of the Ag Pavilion?

Oh, and isn't Kearney where that arch deal is over the interstate? Been a few years since I've been that far west into Nebraska.

I used to own a silver COPO Camaro that used to race at Kearney racetrack. I met the old owner of the track a couple years ago when I bought some Corvettes from his brother out here.

Thanks! The pavilion just imploded. The roof of the building just folded over and ended up on the inside of the building but no other damage to any of the other buildings at the fair grounds. I guess that’s the way it goes! Yes, Kearney is home to the Arch.

Hope you all get the power up and running soon! Thanks for the pics I'm sure they don't do the destruction justice...:(

Thank goodness you got skiped! these storms have been really bad this year. Weird weather patterns!

Being without power is a bitch. Everytime we get a hurricane we are screwed for a week

"You can't spell drunk without UNK!"

My daughter Megan just finished her Sophomore year there and loves it!

She called right after the storm to tell me she was alright...
