Looking at a 68 Nova tommorrow a friend has and wants to sell. Price is cheap and very hard to pass up. Has there been a high end 68-72 Nova sell that brought decent money? I know several high end ones built, but know of none that have sold. trying to decide what to possibly do with this car if I bring it home tommorrow.

There was that blue one with a 572 and 6 speed that sold late 2007 I think. It was either on here or on pro-touring.com. Think it went for low 30k's if I remember correctly? It was a nice clean car. I am guessing someone else will remember it and chime in.

I remember that car. That was cheap for that car. I will probably throw a few more parts with it and then flip it.

Costs the same or more to do a Nova versus a 69 Camaro and you won't get much for the Nova. When Stielow got Joe Nova he was reminded of that and W2W got and built the car instead of Mark. Won't bring half of what they have in it. I like Novas too but can't get past the value loss versus a Camaro.

I dig those years of Novas....but if you already have to many unfinished projects I would focus on those. I am always tempted for another project but I need to finish something myself for a change. Like others said not a good time to sell. Cash is "King" right now so I would rat hole the cash. Good luck whatever you do.

Buddy needs the cash and it is cheap, cheap. I can always sell as is and get my money back or even make a little on it.

Traded the nova for some new parts he needed. Going to fix the floors, couple other little areas, maybe DSE tubs, and then flip it.

The market right now isn't beautiful. But it you wait it out, it will go back to normal in a few years.
