Hi All,

I'm new to muscle cars and have decided to get a 69' camaro after some research and seeing all the beutiful cars...I've always wanted one and have waited a long time to get one. :burnout:

Anyways, I already decided that I will be going with a updated front subframe suspension and IRS from Wayne Due most likely but need help on the aspect I have the least knowledge about...the engine.

Orginally I was leaning towards an LS1+t56 with a Supercharger setup...I've since decided to it the way I really want and to go with a twin turbo setup. I am a little confused about if LS1 is the best engine choice. I am leaning towards LS1 because it is already fuel injected and it would be easy to tune it with a standalone to run with turbos. I would have to build the bottom end and the turbo system.

However, I don't know much about older engine setups....is it more cost efficient to go with an older engine? Should I buy a complete LS1 or build my own from the block?

Please let me know what you all chose and why? Very interested in hearing about other options that may work better for me that what I know of at the moment.

Im going with an LS1 for my TT setup. My goal is around 700 rwhp which im told is not that hard on the LSx motors. Im going to upgrade rods, pistons and stud the engine and have at it. LOL

The LS1 will take more custom work but I think it will be worth it in the long run. I had hoped that I could get mine done before anyone else and say I had the first TT LS1 First Gen but I dont think thats going to happne. :-(
