Sounds killer, so what's the diff between a regular GT500 and the KR?

Here's the article that explains it..quite a lot actually.

its a waste of money you can do more for far less with the base gt-500
its nothing more then a retune and pully for the motor and a suspension kit plus some body panels.
you can do the same pulley tune and a cold air and makde 530 at the REAR WHEELS instead of the flywheel from the stock car then just throw the same suspension system under it from the motorsport catalog and bam you saved 20 grand

most likely true, but for the extra $ you get full warranty, the "real" thing, exclusivity, uniqueness, and will hold value better and longer if you care about that, but most people who will buy it don’t care that much about that.

Agreed, the base GT-500 is a great starting point and so easily tweakable for more power as we all know.
Alot of tuners out there and no one else is offering the 5.4 4v at the dealerships...
With only 1000 being made, its nice for the guy/girl who wants exclusivity and to not have to do a thing to have the baddest factory American made ponycar currently.
I think suggested retail will be $80K + huge dealer mark ups.
I never begrudge people who pay that kind of money.
I'd just rather build a naturally aspirated... anything.

I don't begrudge them either, I'd just rather take the 80k and build my own classic car :)

I like the supercharger whine in this video but for Ford to not have a n/a motor to compete with the LS7 is well...what can I say, they're Ford.
