$2000
First, let me apologize in advance for this being my first post. I'm not the spamming type, but I have a project that I am giving up on that could be of true interest to the Lateral-g members.
I post at Pro-Touring.com, Corvetteforums.com (From when I had my Z06), and nearly 7000 posts at Corral.net form when I had my Mustangs.
This is the 1968 Camaro that could be the perfect metal for your next pro-touring or race car...or even a full restoration to factory specs. The sheetmetal is in very, very good condition and almost rust-free. The window channels and firewall are clean, as well as the front floorboards. The rockers are rock solid. See this photo link for many photos:

Please note! This car had the rear floorboard and trunk pan cut out to back-half it (Pro street or drag race). It seems wrong to do this to such a solid, rust-free car, but someone did. Note this in the photos!
But, this could be an easy fix for an average welder to put factory floors in, do a mini-tub while they are at it, or do a whole custom IRS setup or whatever. The rest of the car's metal is great.
This is a clean "tub" with both doors. This car did have partial quarters (From the top of the fender down) put on it at some point, but the rest of the metal appears to be original GM. That means this metal is solid and fits correctly. Also included are both front fenders, the doors of course, wiper panel and two header panels (One is a little rusty as it came from a nother car).
Outside of the floor issue, the car needs a hood, valance panel, front fender extensions and trunk lid. This is fairly inexpensive in the grand scheme. Much less than repairing rusty window channels or rockers. The rockers are an important part of the structure of a uni-body car and these are thick, solid steel!
It should also be noted that the original dash has been removed. This may be another opportunity to do something very custom or find one form an old junker. I have seen these orignal pieces for cheap on eBay.
There is no subframe or rear frame rails. Again, for a pro-touring or race car person, this is an opportunity to something custom with a fabricated chassis with coilovers and rack-and-pinion, or do a souped-up factory sub.
This is a V8 VIN with a clean Nebraska title. There is no trim tag on the firewall, but if you know your first-gen Camaros, that doesn't mean much on a 1968 as they did not indicate much. The VIN DOES matter as it is clear and is for a V8. The floorboard shows that this was a floor shift automatic car.
I bought this clean body to do a www.retrorides.com type project but I have given up. Of course there are other custom chassis options from from places like www.artmorrison.com , www.musclecarmetal.com , www.streetrodgarage.com , and many more. Or, do your own! Check out those links...there are some cool things to do with first-gen Camaros now.
This is the perfect car for the person that hates bodywork. There is one rust spot at the lower corner of the driver's door about the size of a quarter or less....and that is pretty much it. It only needs basic prep to get it ready for paint. There were partial quarter panels (To the top of the fender) hung at one point, and done well, and they are very straight. The rest of the car appears GM original.

There was some water from the rain the night before in the front floors when I took these photos, so it looks "rusty", but it solid under there. It's just some rain water. This car was stored indoors for many years and the body only recently sat outside (For about 10 months..since last summer). The rust you see is SURFACE and the paint flaking off is simply due to a not so professional job being done many years ago. There is still factory overspray on the car (Appears it was Marina Blue) and the body does not appear to have bondo or multiple paint jobs on it. It is really, really is clean.
No interior, engine, suspension, lights or extra parts. This is just a clean tub to do what you want with.
I will include all four pieces of side glass! Side glass included with this Camaro!
Get your chassis, engine, drivetrain ready, add a custom interior or a repro and spray some paint and you can have the Camaro you always wanted. Just the way you want it. Why deal with an old rusty body or a car with no title? These are the basic building blocks that you need!
One last time, this photo link (80 Photos! Many are repeats, I just wanted to be thorough and not leave anything out.):

Shipping will be your responsibility. Picking up with your trailer is not a problem, and with a few pieces of PVC pipe, and a couple of guys, this will roll right onto a trailer. I've had good luck with Uship.com for large items if you don't have a truck.
Please send me a mesage for my phone number or if you have any questions.
This car will not disappoint if you have red everything above. I am not hiding anything! I'm just a regular car guy that wants to send this car on to a good home.
$2000 cash only
