2003 SVT Cobra 10th Anniversary Convertible, 1 of 2xx made in Silver for convertible models.
I am the second owner of this car . My wife and I found this car with only 3,000 miles on it when we bought it. To date the car has 11,2xx miles on it. Also now a 10 second street car to drive anywhere!
This is a extremely clean well taken care of car . Adams polishes used on this car and garaged since new. Everything is about as perfect as it could be.
Now let me get to the details:
We all know the 4.6 4 cam engine in these cars is absolutely amazing. This car was bone stock when I bought it. The car now makes 605 RWHP and tuned by one of the best at SGS automotive, Dave Guy. I recently ran the car at the drag strip on a street tire and ran a 10.98 @ 129 MPH . I have video and time slips to prove it.
I have done the following work in stages and just did the most recent Whipple addition with in the past 6 months.
I own a performance shop and most of our late model Mustang work is based on suspensions. We specialize in handling and on track suspension systems for the maximized handling but without giving up great street characteristics.
Suspension includes:
Kenny Brown super sport springs, lowers the car about 1.5 inches
Maximum Motorsport valved Bilstein shocks and struts, Factory Bilstiens are no good!
Kenny Brown subframe connectors with the extreme matrix brace, jacking rails and cross braces
MM front lower control arm bushings
MM sway bar bushings with a Kenny Brown adjustable front sway bar
MM strut tower brace
MM 4-bolt caster camber plates
MM g-load brace and retaining the factory convertible lower bracing
MM rear tie rods upgrade kit
MM center differential bushings
Motorsport 4.10 gears
Billet flow IRS rear end girdle/brace (red)
MM rear strut tower brace
AUTOPOWER bolt in roll bar , with removable center bars so back seat access in not limited.
Brakes are the factory COBRA brakes with all stainless Russell brake lines front and rear.
Hawk front brake pads.

GAUGES are the NEW Autometer NEXUS system. This use 3 -2" gauges on the pillar. These are fully electric, full sweep stepper motor gauges with record and playback features. You can set peak warnings with the cable connected remote. These gauges are not cheap ! They cost over $1200 FOR JUST THE 3 GAUGES with the piggyback controller and remote.
I have also changed out the wheels to the best wheels money can buy.
I wanted to retain the factory look with the gray center wheels as the 10th ANN wheels were gray also.
I went with a set of HRE C21 race inspired wheels. These are a true 3 piece wheel. they are very light.
The sizes are 19" and uses a Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tire. 265 fronts and 295 rears.
These wheels are in awesome shape as are the tires.
WHEELS ALONE WERE 6,000 .
I have had this car to Summit Point raceway 3 times. This car is a excellent handling car while retaining great street driving manners. Recently I drag raced the car and ran a 10.98 @ 129 mph . This was done just bolting on a street radial drag tire. No suspension changes made for street or road course or drag racing.
I am selling this car to get ready for my new addition to the family.
Most LOW mileage perfect cars like this go for in the 26,000 to 30,000 range. I should probably put the stock wheels back on and put the stock blower on and sell my parts to get the money out of this car . I hate to return it to a lesser form. THIS IS ONE OF THE NICEST 2003 COBRAS YOU WILL FIND, not to mention the CHEAPEST one with these mods. Mostly everyone these days is doing these things to there Cobras and spending tons of money on them doing so. SAVE YOUR MONEY and Buy my car.
