what did you do for a dipstick? I can't believe I did not handle this when the engine was out. I think there's a boss that's plugged on the passenger side that could be used for a dipstick, wonder if anyone has a simple way to adapt it.
Anyone know for sure how many quarts of oil the ATS pan holds? I think it was only like 5, and then you get another quart (remote filter) plus whatever (2) .750 i.d. 4' oil lines hold. I'm asking because other than filling fluids this thing is ready to fire, and realized there wasn't a dipstick............

I don't know if it will help you but Lokar had the perfect setup for my moroso pan with the 1/4 pipe plug. I did have to call them because the part was not listed. This would allow you to run the flexible braided dipstick and mount it in multiple spots within reason.

I think this one is 1/8" npt, but if I can adapt it that will help a lot. Still need to know if this is something that opens into the pan or not, and then I'll make something work I guess.

Jody,
I sent you a PM earlier, but I also found this. See post #31

FYI: The LS2 C6 pan takes 5.5 quarts with a dry filter, so yours will take more with remote oil filter. I gonna go out to the garage and look at mine as I also have the ATS Pan.......just never have got that far.

I got it, thanks Tom. I'm going to call Lokar tomorrow and see what they have that may be adaptable to my 1/8" npt plug in the block.

EDIT: Sorry, Jody I did not catch that you had already found that plug....but you could always just go to the dealer and get a C6 so you could fire right away.....:unibrow:
Here is a picture that I just took of mine.
